COLLECTIVE PHILANTHROPY PROJECT

WHAT IS COLLECTIVE PHILANTHROPY PROJECT?

Collective Philanthropy Project (CPP) is an annual fundraising project where all Vietnamese Student Associations (VSAs) across the North American continent participate during their school year to help fundraise money for a specific non-profit organization. Every year, a new CPP beneficiary is selected at Union of North American Vietnamese Student Associations' (UNAVSA) Leadership Conference from a selection of three final candidates. Once selected, the new CPP beneficiary becomes the new CPP campaign for the upcoming school year.

Since XULAVA's membership to Union of Vietnamese Student Association - Gulf Coast (UVSA-GC), XULAVA participated in multiple CPP campaigns, such Foodaid Compassion (2014-2015), Kids Without Borders (2015-2016), and The Catalyst Foundation: Project Backpack (2016-2017). As an organization, XULAVA have raised more than $2000 towards CPP each year and will continue to increase as the year progress.
